Join this workshop to embroider on shibori during the Craft4Crafters Show at Bath & West Showground.
Come and take part to stitch and decorate a small shibori hanging.
Annabel will provide a dyed and stitched fabric design for you to embellish.
All textile and hand stitch enthusiasts out there will love exploring using the Japanese craft of Shibori as a base for embroidery.
During the session Annabel will encourage an interest in shibori and its possibilities with information on the straightforward shibori techniques used to create your panel fabric.
Annabel has distilled my many years of working with shibori and hand stitch to make a fun session of creativity and discovery.
Included in This Embroider on Shibori Session:
- The blue dyed and patterned prepared fabric panel approx. 10 x 25 cm
- Wadding to back the panel
- Threads and necessary sewing tools
- A small twig and tapes to hang your finished embroidery
