These colourful and botanically inspired textile designs are created using the ancient Japanese art of “shibori”, a Japanese word that means to wring or squeeze. It is then crafted into the lamp around a wire framework with the necessary electrics. What is special about these lamps is the way the light glows through the area of stitch resist creating a glowing presence to relax and hearten on dull summer days or in the depths of winter.
